Where are you from?
I’ve always liked having bracelets or little reminders on my wrist - a bracelet with special meaning from someone, a friendship bracelet, a camp wristband with a few words on it, etc - and I kept seeing Facebook ads for Zox. Eventually, I got curious enough and clicked one and it just went from there! It was also the first few days of lockdown during the pandemic in March of 2020 and I was really feeling the need for encouragement. My birthday was coming up and being a person with chronic illness, I had already felt somewhat isolated. Zox just seemed to have the perfect sayings in that moment of time when I found them. And a few days later I had birthday wishes from Zoxers all over the world too!
What convinced you to join VIP?
I think I received an email inviting me to join and I figured I’d see what it was about. Once I joined, it was really cool to see so many other people all wearing Zox for the same reasons.
How long have you been a VIP?
2 years!
What do you love about being a VIP?
The community and everything in it. It’s cool to see other people sharing their experiences, stories, or even just little updates on their day. It has such an atmosphere of kindness, support, and togetherness; it’s a wonderful group to be in.
What do you love about ZOX?
I love the messages of encouragement and inspiration in each band. And the creativity in each design adds something unique and colorful to my day!
What's your favorite ZOX product and why?
Definitely the wristbands! :)
When did you start building your collection? What started it all?
It wasn’t meant to be a collection, it kinda just turned into one! I have basically continued to get Zox that stood out to me for their meanings (which became more and more), and it accumulated!
If you could design your own ZOX product, what would it be and what would it look like?
Oh, I have several ideas for wristbands, but I don’t know if I should give them away…
What do you plan on getting next? Why?
I’ve never been able to get an F&F, so I’m on the lookout for that, but there’s one in particular I’m waiting for. Whenever the Celebrate the Spectrum single comes out this year, I’m grabbing it! I’m so excited to finally have a Zox that represents the beautiful Neurodiversity all around us! As an autistic, it means so much to me to not only be seen, but to be heard by such a wonderful community and brand that is continually growing!
