My name is Aaron and almost 5 years ago I became a father for the first time. My story is a little different, see my first child was born with Down syndrome. Regardless of what the doctors said, all the struggles and everything that may be “wrong” with our son we preceded with the pregnancy. And I’m sure glad we did because our son is absolutely perfect. He has taught us unconditional love. He taught us that no matter what life throws at him, you can smile and know everything will be perfect. He is strong, loving and the most amazing big brother anyone can ask for. The reason I tell this story is because no matter what you’re going through, just know you are loved. I buy these bracelets in bulk, and every time I see a special-needs kid I give one to them. Because these kids are perfect and their own way, and they need to know that they are loved.
