stronger with every struggle

April 26, 2021
On February 7, 2019, my world changed. I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was immediately numb. I was overwhelmed by every move. I had to have surgery, radiation, and begin taking medication. After a nightmare of oncology team work, I was on my way to a hopeful remission. Today, I am in a full remission. I still fear the tests and labs every appointment. I stay positive but no matter what, I’m always anxious of the unknown. I also have had a lifetime of health issues but I am here to tell my story. I keep going because I love life.
