stay strong

January 14, 2020
For as long as I can remember I have struggled with depression and anxiety. I have gone through so much throughout my life and it was getting harder every year to stay strong. In high school, I got really bad and ultimately wanted to end my life. I have four younger sisters and when I got really bad, one of them texted me, “stay strong I love you” on the day that I needed it the most. I stay strong for my sisters and now for myself. The words stay strong are more than just two words on a band, but the words that are the reason I am still here today. So I proudly wear them on my wrist to remember that I am strong for my younger sisters and myself.
