give life

April 9, 2021
I’m a paramedic, volunteering at my local fire department as well as working full time as a government contractor on an Air Force Base. I’m also a mother of 4 kids ages 12,8,6, and 4. My husband and I have both been working full time as government contractors since Covid broke out, remote learning was awful. I wear my Give Life strap every shift I work because the depiction on it is literally how I feel on a constant basis working in an ER in the middle of a pandemic. It’s incredibly uplifting to me to look down and see the grim reaper being pushed away. I only hope it gets me through until there’s a cure for covid and life can go back to normal. We health care workers are struggling physically, emotionally, and pretty much every way you can imagine.
