count to ten

Hi Zox!

I have struggled with my weight my entire life. It caused so much anxiety and it overall just made me feel like less of a person than everyone around me. Last year I decided to make a doctors appointment to do something about it. With guidance from my doctor and support from everyone around me, I decided to get gastric surgery. I did the gastric bypass surgery in December.

After meeting with the doctor for my follow up, he was very happy with my progress and said that my life was basically saved. They found that my liver was affected more than it should have been. Losing weight will not only help my self esteem, but it will help my liver.

After meeting with the dietician, I knew my eating habits would be totally different. I eat 6 times a day, but small meals. I continued struggling with eating too fast and it would make me sick. I needed a reminder to slow down. I got the count to 10 bracelet not only as a visual reminder to help me slow down when I eat so I don't get sick, but gastric surgery is also very emotional. There are times when I feel like I can't do it. This bracelet is an overall reminder to slow down, count to 10, and realize I am bettering my own life.

I am happy to say after 2 months I've lost 57 pounds, and since the bracelet reminder, my mental journey has been better. Never underestimate the power of a visual reminder.

I have had many zox bracelets over time. I love them all. The messages are amazing and the difference is amazing. Thank you all for what you do.
