Meet  Raja!

Hi Raja! Where are you from?

California

How'd you find ZOX?

Like I am sure happened with many others, I was targeted by an aggressive ad campaign through Facebook haha. Finally, one day I saw a strap that resembled one of my favorite characters and the rest was history. What I love about ZOX is that they tackle topics of self help, mental health, and positivity in such a unique way. I also love that ZOX are created out of recycled bottles to help reduce plastic waste and that a portion of the funds go toward humanitarian efforts.

Which ZOX do you wear most often?

My go to strap currently is Do what you love. If it doesn’t make you happy, don’t do it. When something is meaningful to you or brings you joy, that is when you get passionate about it. You push yourself to learn more, to do more because it is something that improves your overall happiness and well being.

If you could bring back a retired strap, what would it be?

I would bring back the artist series. I love the art of Monet, Klimt, Van Gogh, Michelangelo, et al, and having ZOX that are inspired by their creations come back would make me very happy. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware of ZOX at the time of those releases but have still managed to acquire a few through trading. It is my hope that one day, I will own the complete collection.

What's your favorite ZOX memory?

My favorite memories of ZOX are when I give them away to friends/family. Helping others is what I find to be the most rewarding part of collecting. After hearing what people go through or struggle with, I will rummage through my collection and try to find a strap that will be meaningful to them. I enjoy the moment they read the card and see the meaning behind it and how much it relates to them personally.

What does your dream strap look like?

I would love to see more straps related to helping others, being kind, support, but most importantly, empathy. I believe the most human thing one can do is help another. Shared life experiences, understanding and acceptance are how we relate to one another. Nobody is able to get through life on their own, we all rely on the support of friends and family to get us through our toughest moments and I would love to see more straps highlighting those who are in service to others.

What do you plan on collecting next?

More MPs, always. Love the excitement of the unknown and the chance that you might strike gold (literally and figuratively).

Thank you so much for sharing, Raja! I love your ideas for future straps and wish you the best of luck in striking gold.

Keep an eye out for more of your friends to be featured soon!

Be bold,

Landri
