Meet  Leilani Lewis!

What’s your name? 

My real name is Leilani Lewis the Third (okay, it’s not really the third.  I just threw it in there because it sounds fancy), but in VIP I’m known as King Lala. 

Where are you from?

Salt Lake City, UT 

How’d you find ZOX? 

Like many others, I was scrolling through Facebook and saw an ad for Endurance.  It reminded me of a video game I was hooked on at the time and had to have it.

What convinced you to join VIP?

I received an email inviting me to join because I hit a certain benchmark in my purchases.  I figured I’d join and lurk to see what it was all about, then decide if it was really for me.  It took two weeks for me to be approved, and I’ve been in VIP ever since. 

How long have you been a VIP?

I was added on August 2, 2017.  Hey! I just missed my VIPiversary. 

What do you love about being a VIP?

What do I love about VIP?  Hands down it’s my fellow Zoxers.  Everyone is so friendly and willing to help each other out.  I’ve met some awesome people and have forged lifelong friendships that I will cherish forever.  What do I love about Zox?  It was the art that initially drew me in and the fact that I could help support artists.

What’s your favorite ZOX product?

I love straps! They are by far my favorite followed closely by doubles and strings.

When did you start building your collection?

I made my first purchase on June 10, 2017.  I meant to only buy Endurance but ended up purchasing Wanderlust and Amaze as well.  I wore them for a month and fell in love.  It got to where I’d start to feel naked without one.  I had so many people stop and ask me about them or compliment them. A little over a month after my initial purchase I went back to the site to see what else was available and researched stuff I had already missed.  When I found Starry Night 1 & 2, I knew I’d find many, many, more that I’d need to have and have been hooked ever since.

If you could design your own ZOX product, what would it be, and what would it look like?

I would love a snapback!  It doesn’t have to be fancy.  Maybe, just a circle with the imperial print.  If I could design a strap, I would love one that said create in cursive written with a quill and maybe toss in an inkwell for good measure.  The strap would be called Might or Mightier because the pen is mightier than the sword.  There are quite a few straps designed for those who love to read but none that I can think of for those who love to create their own stories.

What do you plan on getting next? Why? 

I’m going to try my hardest to collect the newest Alice season set.  Jessica Douglas is one of my favorite Zox artists, and I MUST have everything she creates.  Plus, they’re beautiful straps that I happen to own the original art for.
