Meet Kim Halloran!

Where are you from?

New England - There's something special about the 4 seasons and being in the White Mountains.

How long have you been a ZOX VIP?

I joined the ZOX VIP community in Sept. 2020.

What does your ZOX collection look like?

It all started with a single so I could wear a medical ID tag on something other than silicone; however, once I saw the adorable "Monster's Doing Things" moonstone, straps came into play. I picked up one ring, "Believe in Yourself" which I have on my keyring, a couple of metlets and a hoodie (which needs many strings!!) to round out my collection. My favorite metlet "Shine On" is a daily reminder to sparkle. I'm working on collecting mountain themed ZOX and have made a good dent, but do have several more elusive straps to obtain.

Which ZOX started your collection, and what is your most recent piece?

My first Zox order had "Strength & Beauty" for my medical ID tag along with "Girl Power" for a giveaway gift for my friend's tween daughter's non-profit "Girls Into Coding" and a variety of uplifting ZOX for giveaways on two FaceBook sites I am active in - both of which have wonderful communities, much like ZOX VIP.

What’s your favorite ZOX, and why?

This is a hard one... The Orange F&F (orange is my fav color!), Be Still My Soul & The Simple Things in honor of my mom, Thistle Be the Day, Burn Bright, Snow, anything Mountain themed, Everyone is Unique or Wanderlust. I can't pick just one!!!

If you could design your own collection, what would it be?

I have 3 ideas for collections, the first being my personal one of places I love:

"People Places & Things": The people of Ireland (with the art being a variety of front doors found in Ireland), the city of Prague (the glockenspiel), The Blue Hole in Belize, The Pitons in St. Lucia, a Covered bridge (perhaps like the one in Bath, NH), Ayres Rock in Australia & Kyoto's Golden temple as the Moonstone.

Timekeepers: a cuckoo clock from Bavaria, Germany, a pocket watch, a sand hourglass, a sundial, Stonehenge, a ship's bell and clock & Prague's Glockenspiel as the Moonstone (or Boston's Clock Tower if Prague's is in a different collection).

Glockenspie(such a cool word!): Prague's Astronomical Glockenspiel, Munich's Rathaus Glockenspiel, Vienna's Anker Clock, Stratford New Zealand's Glockenspiel, Zimmer Tower in Lier, Belgium, Jacquemart Clock in Brussels, Belgium and Moonstone: Le dragon Clock, Blois, France.

Can you tell I love Prague's Astronomical Clock and would love to see it on a Zox strap??

What do you love about VIP?

VIP is a community of people, from all walks of life, who choose to lift each other up with kind and supporting words and through sharing their ZOX stories.

What do you love about ZOX?

I love the positive reminders, the community feeling of VIP and the artistic designs. There's no denying the fun in opening a Mystery Pack or watching the live previews.

Which ZOX are you planning on acquiring next?

Hopefully, I'll acquire the Frost moonstone which I've had my eye on for over for a year... and I'd love a medical ID tag when its ready.
