Meet  Bailey Sue Ackerman!

Hey Bailey! Where are you from?

I grew up in Michigan, have been living in Arizona for the last 5 years! I love AZ so much!

When did you join VIP?

Oh, I don’t remember the exact date, but I would venture to say pretty close to after I placed my first order which was 8/17/20.

What drew you to ZOX?

I saw an ad on Facebook for the sale on Imperials that ZOX was having at the time, and I thought they were ‘neat’ so I dug around on the website. Within an hour, I had placed 2 orders for SEVERAL singles and straps! I dug into the website as much as I could, and reading about all the good ZOX does is what drew me to them. I was at the lowest point in my life, fresh out of an abusive relationship and just looking for anything to help change my mindset. ZOX has helped more with my recovery than I ever could have imagined, and I am so grateful for all the love they spread and kind words they share! 

What was the first ZOX you collected?

My first order had 4 singles in it. Progress Not Perfection, I Am Safe, Never Give Up, and You Are Enough. Four reminders I DESPERATELY needed at that time, and still do today. 

What's your favorite ZOX?

Wow, what a hard question…honestly, it’s so hard to say. I really love the seasons I’ve collected (Yellow Brick Road, Wonderland, Seven Seas, Technofuture) but I don’t wear those - they are on display. I buy and wear ones that are reminders I need, so one of the ones I wear the most is You Are Enough because I struggle with feeling enough. I also favorite my purple ZOX as that’s my favorite color. 

Let's say you're given the opportunity to create a new ZOX product: what would it be?

Hmmm, ZOX has soooo many amazing products already! I honestly have no suggestions - everything I can think of they have done. I’d like to use my strings outside of the hoodies just because it’s so hot where I live…but they solved that with the backpack coming out this year!!! Can’t wait to get my hands on one!! 

What's your favorite thing about being a VIP?

I just love the love and positivity in the community! I love seeing all the positive posts or if someone posts something about having a hard time, all the love and support that comes out of it is just so amazing. With all the negativity in the world right now, I enjoy coming to the VIP group for the light! Oh, and answering questions! I love asking and answering questions!! I ask my fair share still lol, and I love answering questions and helping newbies find their way! It’s so overwhelming when you start out! 

What do you love most about ZOX?

I love everything. ZOX is the first thing I’ve ever collected in my life, and I think I picked an amazing company to start with. The water project and that they are made with recycled water bottles makes me feel good that I am contributing to something good and not just CEO pockets. The bros and everyone at ZOX are just amazing people, and I feel truly grateful to have accidentally stumbled on it last year. I love that everyday I get to pick a reminders to make my day the best it can be! 

Which ZOX are you planning on acquiring next?

I am desperately trying to finish the Asgard set since I only need 3 more, I am big into Norse mythology and would LOVE to add this to my collection. I also am always looking for Busy Doing Nothing, but hey, I pulled another grail Dig Deep from a mystery pack recently, so maybe I’ll get lucky!
