August 26, 2021 I am now in recovery for 183 days from my addictions to AOD. I have been suffering with mental health issues all my life from trauma. On my 5 month anniversary, I was diagnosed with cancer. I have realized that I am unable to control what my insides are doing but decided to shine my light and keep smiling. In my recovery I will no longer be the self sabotaging and abused victim I was for the past twenty years of my young life. Today, my life does matter and I will become a survivor of my traumatic life and cancer with my Higher Power's help.
