I am having to take a LOA from work. I’m a manager of a retail store and my assistants are my best friends and supportive beyond belief. We’ve had a lot of adjustments to make because of Covid. People have not been the kindest. Yet, some of them have been super kind. This LOA comes only 8 months after my maternity leave. They’ve had a lot on their shoulders, as well as I.
