you and me

This purchase has probably been the thing that has brought me and my boyfriend the closest. Not long after we started dating he was fired from his job. With his new job he has had to work away a lot so we don’t see each other very often. He was always super worried and finally opened up saying, the reason for his worries was actually whether I would leave him because I don’t get to see him. He has depression and when he told me this I knew I had to do something to remind him that it’s “You & Me” against all odds. I bought two bands, one in grey and one in blue, to remind him that we are in this together, no matter how difficult it gets. It was coming up to his birthday and while it was meant as a birthday present I knew I had to give it to him as soon as I saw him next. When he saw it he teared up, he knew that I had mine on at all times and every time he looked at his it reminded him of us. Neither of us have taken them off since and it’s helped both of us get through the weeks that we don’t get to see each other.
