till we meet again

June 4, 2021
We recently had to make the difficult decision to put down my furbaby. My parents have been taking care of her since I moved out a few months ago. We had her for 7 years and the vet had assumed she was around 8 years old when we had rescued her. She was suffering and once the vet told me her kidneys were failing, I knew I couldn't let her have more pain I was shopping for bracelets because they always cheer me up as little mantras to get me through the day and I saw the "Till We Meet Again" band. My mother has been taking it especially hard since she was taking care of my dogs while I'm living in a place that doesn't allow them. So my babies had become hers as well. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to buy it to give to her. When it came in, she was coming to visit me for the day. I waited until the end of the day to give her the bracelet with its card. She hugged me so hard and immediately began crying because it meant so much to her to be reminded that our baby girl isn't gone forever, but that she'll be waiting for us one day. She hasn't taken it off since and she gets asked about it all the time because people really relate to needing to remember their pets will always be there for them. I like to think these bracelets help people connect and find situations that we've shared or had in common. It helps people open up about everything from positivity to past pain. I want to thank you guys for all the positivity your bands bring to my life and for allowing me to bring that into my mother's life as well. It showed up in an email at just the right time. And it meant so much to see her seem a bit more hopeful. Love all the work you do! These little bracelets mean so much.
