remember the bigger picture
March 29, 2021I work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Many days can be challenging when dealing with those who are under the influence or fail to take their medications as prescribed. Recently I was wearing one of my zox bracelets (I have MANY) when one of my clients who was in a psychotic state yelled out, “remember the big picture.” I had become frustrated in the moment with the difficulty I was experiencing in obtaining information from the individual. As soon as she said those words, it was all placed back into perspective, and I remembered why I went into this profession in the first place😊
