love remembers

March 5, 2020

I had a tough childhood; one that no child should ever have to endure. I thought all hope was lost until I met someone who changed my life when I was 11. She moved in across the street and even though she was a lot older than me, she befriended me. I was at that ‘sensitive’ age, I was not loved nor wanted in my own home, so it was her that got me through my awkward years. Then one day something happened and she wasn’t in my life anymore. That was over 25 years ago. I grew up, got married and moved away from my hometown but I never forgot her. I wrote her a letter every year starting when I was 15 but never had the courage to send it. My health started to steadily decline in 2019 and I was told if I had things left undone, to do them. It was then I knew I had to reach out to her, to thank her for saving my life all those years ago and to tell her that I loved her. I saw these bracelets, Love Remembers and Release My Past, and thought of her immediately. I bought us each one of each. I wear mine every day and remember how lucky I was to have her in my life.
