keep going, take another step, finish the race
November 13, 2019One of my favorite Zox straps is Continue. I'm a paramedic, and I have come in contact with many people who have been impacted, or have attempted, or have succeeded in suicide. I lost my brother to mental illness and suicide, and I know so many friends, family, and coworkers whose lives have been impacted by it. I also struggle with anxiety and fear, and this strap reminds me of 1Timothy 3:14, "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed." God's word gives me strength and keeps me going. This year I signed up for a virtual race across the US. I'm running miles in prayer for those who's lives have been affected by suicide. Wearing Continue reminds me to keep going, take another step, finish the race. May this race, online and lifelong, be finished well.
