i choose joy

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2019. I faced chemo, surgeries, and additional treatments ahead of me. I am a married mother of three children, ages 10 and under, and a special education teacher. The day I was diagnosed rocked my world, but there has been SO much good that has come from my journey! As of August 2020, I have completed 6 rounds of chemo, 4 surgeries, 15 additional treatments and am now a survivor! I have been so blessed and have chosen joy since my diagnosis. I've always had a positive outlook on things, but it's funny how something, like cancer, will make you see things a little differently. I have felt called to choose joy and spread it to others! My sister gave me my Choose Joy writstband and I love it! It serves as a reminder for me to find the joy in life, even when it may not always be easy. I have since purchased more to give to loved ones. I also like using the little card they come on as a bookmark. Thank you Zox for making such great products that positively inspire others!
