every breath is a gift
November 28, 2019I gave the "Breathe" ZOX to my baby brother (really he is 24 years old lol) for his birthday. Every birthday he has is an accomplishment. 23 years ago we found out he has CF (Cystic Fibrosis). One of the slogans for CF is "Just Breathe". When he was diagnosed, his life expectancy was 5 years...then 15 years... and now he is 24 years old and is kicking CF's butt. He still has 'tune ups' where he is in the hospital for extended periods of time and he takes more meds in a week than I probably have in a lifetime but he is healthy in normal standards right now- let alone CF standards. He has followed in my footsteps and went to school for Automotive and is now on his way to having the highest FORD certification there is (I'm all GM so that was rough for me to write lol) . He recently wore his ZOX for the first time to work and was able to fix something that 3 previous shops could not. He says its good luck. I hope so. He is doing great right now health wise and just recently got engaged, I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished. Every breath for a person with CF is a gift. Thank you for making something that is unique and has a special meaning for both me and him.
