afterglow

October 25, 2019
I am a chef. The kitchen can be a brutal place. Every day I walk out of there having lost weight in either blood, sweat, or tears, but I love it. Those of us who truly live for what we do, know that striving for success can be painful and tiring, but the sense of accomplishment makes it all worth it. Kitchens are often a place for the misfits. We tend to be the loud, foul-mouthed members of society, and every cook I know has some reason for wanting to hide in the back of the house. My Zox are my way to show a bit of personality when I'm forced to wear a matching jacket and hat with everyone around me. Afterglow is my go-to strap for the particularly long days. The days when I'm churning out plates for 300 people, or I've been working on a wedding cake since 5 AM because I just can't get the frosting right. This strap is my reminder that there's nothing like basking in the afterglow of your own hard work and determination.
